Our Story

My site is just about showing off my cute kids. We are a big family and we like to go places. Also, I like to take lots of pictures and this way I can show them off.

This is when it all started...2002

Meet Sayde. She is my friends niece who has made a decision to become a plus size model. I was fortunate to be able to take her photos for a portfolio she is putting together. I thought I would display her pictures on my blog to see what you think. I had fun taking the photos and I am interested in any feedback.

I've known Sayde since she was a little girl. She is full of life and has an amazing sense of humor. Everybody she meets, likes her. Currently she works at Torrid in the Southtowne Mall and she is also a hair stylist full time as well.

The Torrid corporate office has asked Sayde to get a portfolio together to possibly be a model for them. Good luck Sayde! I hope you enjoy the pictures.

We had another shoot scheduled for today but it snowed. We will be going again next Sunday so I will post those pictures when I get them.

Maggie had a birthday February 23rd. I can't believe she is 15. She will be driving in one year. She is an amazing girl. Magz is a wonderful example to her brothers and sisters and is easy to get along with.

When I first met Maggie she was 8, about to turn 9. She still remembers the her nineth birthday cake that Grandma Hart made her. Kirk and I had just been dating a month but we were definetly in love. We, the kids and I plus my mom and dad were all invited to have dinner at Kirk's to celebrate Maggie's birthday. That was pretty much the beginning of our lives together.

Maggie and I quickly became buddies. I remember taking her on my visits for Noah's Ark. She loved playing with the dogs or cats and helping me work. We had some great times and was really able to bond and start a great relationship. She is a very special girl and I am so greatful to have become her mother. We are still great buddies and we love to hang out together. She includes me in her life and now her stories with her teenage friends. Wow, I remember those days.

I'm impressed at how smart she is. She's always been grown up for her age, almost everyone who meets her thinks she is older than she is because she is so mature. Maggie has many talents. She enjoys acting and singing. She's played the chello and guitar and is in her third year of French. Just recently she performed in a talent show at her school in front of all her peers. She is in a small rock band with a few of her friends and they did a great job. I am so proud of her.

You go girl! Happy Birthday!
Love,
Mom
